Home Country from Canada

Hi,

I have just bought Patriot American insurance for my mom. She will travel to the US for 3 weeks starting tomorrow. She has a supervisa status in Canada and Atlas does not allow people with home country Canada to buy their travel insurance. Patriot America allows me to buy it but I wonder if there are any catches that I need to know?
