buy 2 policies?

thinking of buying two policies for visiting parents. One from US and one from India. India will be just a backup in case the US doesn't cover the full payment
amount in case of an incident. Has anyone experiences related to this? Thanks

That is not recommended at all.

Reason:
You can't claim with either of the companies as per your wish. Both policies will be considered secondary to the other policy. Both companies will ask you to claim from the other company first and coordination will be big headache between US company and Indian company.

In case you want to purchase two policies, buy both from the US. In that case also, you need adhere to strict rules and sequence of purchase is also important. That requires careful planning. Therefore, it would be the best if you can call our office and we can explain that to you.
