USA based Travel Medical Insurance

Hi All,
My friend's brother in law came to USA 3 weeks ago. He is 30 years old and was fine until last week when he passed out and was taken to ER. He has US based Travel Medical insurance ( i guess patriot america... something not sure) Based on preliminary tests and his condition he was admitted for overnight. As per the doctors , this is not related to any pre-existing condition and he has been referred to specialty center where he will be further investigated and may need some sort of surgery. He is currently stable and my friend would like to know if his treatment will be covered by travel insurance, if not then he may sen him back to home country for treatment. Please advise

Thank you for your quick response! They have purchased from some website and broker is neither picking up the phone nor responding to emails. One more thing I just learned that doctors have advised them to treat this condition as quickly as possible. Could you please let me know under this scenario what are the options for them?

insubuy- Your response is not helpful except you are advertising your company here. If they would have bought insurance through you, what would be your recommendations to them at the moment?

In order to give you proper advice, we would need documents and other information that we are unable to get access to as we are not the party to this matter.
