I need to buy visitors insurance for my in-laws and based on recommendations and plan converges, I have decided to purchase either Atlas America or Patriot America Plus . I need below clarifications.
Atlas America
1) Plan says it covers 100% after deductible for in-network. Does this mean all services are 100% paid by insurance if I go with $0 deductible? or any exceptions?
2) I stay in a snowy place and in any case if our luck is not good and anyone slips/falls by any chance and if we have to go for Physical Therapy the plan is covering only $50 per day. This means I
have to pay extra bill that we will get. Am I correct?
Patriot America Plus
1) Co-Insurance, you pay 10% of first $5000 for in-network. Is it applicable for all services (Doctor visits, Urgent Care, Physical Therapy, etc...) or any exceptions?
2) Co-Insurance, you pay 10% of first $5000 for in-network. Is it per person or both?
Also for both insurances show To policy maximum for couple of services. This means Insurance pays up-to policy maximum after Deductible and Co-Insurance. Am I correct?
Any help on this is appreciated.
