Medical emergency when patient is not having visitor insurance

Hi Admin

This is regarding the medical emergency my friend's dad is going through. He was hospitalized in emergency room today morning due to seizures. Since hospitalized hospital staff has performed lots of tests like MRI EEG.

And unfortunately he is not having any insurance. We are afraid of the cost of the treatment and would be not able to pay it.

Could you please guide us here? If we buy any visitor insurance today when event has already happened, would any insurance cover it?
