I will be visiting the US for 6 months on a J-1 visa with my partner and son from Jan 07, and am completely unsure what type of halth insurance we need. The quotes seem to vary so much. So, my question is: what type of insurance do we need and how much can we expect to pay?

When I follow the various links on **** ***, it suggests there are other companies that offer suitable coverage for someon on a J-1 visa, e.g. Atlas-America. Is this right?

Also, while this kind of coverage meets the requirements for a J-1 visa, is it possible to give me any idea of the things that this kind of insurance would not cover that a more comprehensive package would?
