Deciding on Insurance coverage for my parents

The reason I am writiing you this mail is because, I saw that your answer to ot of the questions on the website, and would really appreciate if you could reply to my query too.

Now my question,

My Parents Dad : 72 years and Mom 59 Years old are planning to visit USA in March.

I am deciding on which insurance to buy for them. Want to see if you can help me with my decision. I see that fixed coverage is cheaper and comprehensive coverage is expensive. I read through the brochures but
could not understand what are the advantages of comprehensive coverage. Would really appreciate if you could please summarize.
