Combined or separate policy for parents

Hi, My parents are visiting USA from India and going to stay in USA for less than 4 months (most probably from May till September). I have a query for you. Should I have to buy two visitor medical insurance or I need to buy only one as they are husband and wife and once I buy for one(father) then my mother would be automatically included as being his spouse. Your reply is very important for us. Please, advise me. Thanks

You either buy 2 separate policies for each person or you can buy combined policy for both of them. Either way, total price is going to be same.

e.g., price per person is $100/month. Then it would be $400 for father and $400 for mother. Total $800 whether you buy separate policies or one policy. (Just example figures. Actual premiums would vary based upon age, policy maximum and deductible chosen.)
