TATA AIG Insurance claims

Hello:

My parents got insurance from TATA AIG. My father is 58yrs old, so I think he is covered by fixed comprehensive insurance. He fractured his ankle today and might require surgery. I had a few questions:

1. If he's 58, could he still be covered by comprehensive insurance?
2. Any experiences with TATA AIG with reimbursements? I think the process including surgery and ER visit would cost around $10K.
