We get many calls from people and after we explain that pre-existing conditions are not covered, some of them say they don't need to buy insurance just for cold, flu, fever or for accidents.

My father-in-law, who is 67yrs old and retired, visited a cousin in Orlando in August of 2005. While there he contracted pnemonia, a call was made to 911 and he was hospitalised for 4 Days.
Several bills have been sent to the address where he stayed during his
visit, from the hospital and other services like radiology etc, and these have been mailed to him. He doesn't have medical insurance.
