Is AIG any good?

Hi,
My parents are planning to visit USA. They were thinking about buying insurance coverage from AIG. Can someone please let me know if AIG is a good company to deal with?

My parents are healthy and do not have any pre-existing medical conditions (although my dad is a diabetic patient, he is on a healthy diet and medication, nothing serious)

Please help me with details about AIG.

AIG is a overall good company. However, it is a large company and does not sell visitor medical insurance directly.

In US, they have many plans through many intermediaries and they all vary. Depending upon that, details may really be different.

Please specify which product from which administrator are you referring to?

Or you referring to Tata AIG in India?

it is TATA AIG

i talked to my parents and they mentioned that it is TATA AIG

what is your opinion about TATA AIG

That's entirely different than AIG. Tata AIG is an Indian company for all practical purposes. As per their web site, you have to file claims in Mumbai after returning to India.
