Purchase Medical Insurance from ICICI for parents

Just wanted to find out if you had any Positive information about ICICI Lombard Insurance for my parents who will be visiting from India. They have Diabetes & Blood Pressure as pre-existing condition.

How is ICICI with payment for claims - Do they pay in Rupees in India or in Dollars in USA. Also do they provide any Insurance Card which can be shown at the time of treatment.

Any help would be appreciated.

1. I didn't have any positive experience.

2. Payment is definitely in Indian Rupees in India for all outpatient claims. And that happens after you go back to India because you have to show the proof of entry back into India.
For inpatient claims, they claim they will pay in US dollars, but I have not seen any of my claims processed yet after so many months.

3. No, there is no health insurance card.
