Sir,
My dad fell sick on his recent trip to US.
We had to take him to 3 different specialist and do a lot of lab work.
It has been 5 months after the first DR visit but the insurance is still processing the claims(I went with inBound USA). I have filed my own claim with copies of medical reports but still it is taking so much time. I am very unhappy with this whole experience.
Meanwhile, I have recieved a letter from a debt collector for a amount which does not show up in any of the bills I have recieved so far from the hospital.
I do not want to acknowledge reciept of the letter as they might then think that I am responsible for the amount.
Do you know how to handle this situation?
Also, is there anything that I can do to expedite the insurance claim process.
I feel like the insurance company just wants to take as much time so that the hospital come after us.
Thanks!!
