I am looking to purchase insurance for my folks (born 1938 and 1952)
upto 3-4 months. I am inclined to take the
fixed coverage option.
The folks are normal healthy people and have no existing serious medical
history.
Could you please help clarify the following:
1. Would the cards provided, state 'PPO' network.
2. What hospitals/doctors/health care providers from TULSA, OKLAHOMA are
registered with your insurance company.
3. Once the insurance company is notified in advance for a health
service, How long is the delay before which the insured can seek the
services of the health care provider.2. In case, the insured person
visits a doctor, would he/she have to pay the amount more than the
deductible(say $50).
4. Would the underwriter or the insurance company directly pay the
amounts to the health care provider.
5. Does the insurance company take care of the payments by itself, or it
seeks the permission and funds from its underwriter.
6. What is the rating of the service quality by the customers for the
various options you have.
I am the kind of person who would opt for the coverage where I would not
have to get into the hassles of getting the insurance provider pay me
after a tiresome and delayed sequence of paperwork. Rest assured that if
I ever need a service I would inform the insurance company in advance,
except for unforeseen emergencies.
Please let me know what would you recommend. I would appreciate your
reply.
