Fixed vs. Comprehensive visitors insurance

Need some advice before buying insurance.

My parents are scheduled to make their 2nd visit to US.
Last year they had TATA-AIG insurance and we did not need
to use it.

This time I would like to buy the insurance from here US.
My Dad has eye condition: Glucoma.
Otherwise he is in good health.
My mom has had angioplasty done years back but she is
in good health. Both of them are in 64-67 age range

My concern is to make sure they are covered during
visits for say cold/cough, eye pain or if there is an emergency
visit to the hospital during cold months of October/Nov.


Based on your experience, would Fixed coverage be OK.
or should I go for Comprehensive. During their stay they will
be staying in Minnesota.

TATA-AIG is also fixed coverage for anyone over 55 years of age.

Insurance company will pay for any new medical conditions, sicknesses,
injuries that may occur after the effective date of the policy. It will not
cover anything related to your father's Glucoma and your mother's heart
disease.
