Visitors Care only for visitors?

I am looking for a short term (2.5 months) insurance for my wife and son from 4th July 2006. My wife and son are on H4 visa and in USA from 6th Jan 2006. I am planning to buy the 'Visitor Care IMG' plan for them with coverage for 25000. I have a query though that whether h4 visa holders can apply for a visitors visa ? Whether their status is 'Visitor' ? or do I have to choose some different plan ?

Any non US citizen who is non immigrant in the US and want to purchase the insurance for short term can purchase 'Visitors Care'. It is not just limited to visitors (B2 visa holders). It is popularly referred to as visitors insurance because it is purchased mostly by visitors compared to anyone else.

Thanks for your immediate reply. I need your help in selecting a plan for my family.

Let me tell you my case in short -

1. I am on H1B since August 2005. I am staying in NJ ( 08830 )
2. I am insured under oxford plan
3. My family my wife (29 yrs) and son (3 Yrs) joined me in Jan 2006 on H4.
4. While coming to US they had India based Insurance which is expiring today and I am looking for a temporary insurance for them for next 2.5 months.
5. I cannot add them to oxford till Sept 15th and hence need a short term Insurance

My wife and son are both in good health just I don't want to take any risk since my son is ver young.

Can you recommend me any particular insurance plan ? I figured out that there is only Visitor care plan offering fixed coverage for $25000. However I am not sure whether I should go with fixed or comprehensive plan. I read all review and comments by people on your site but still not very sure. I will go with what you recommend

You should go for comprehensive coverage plan. Fixed coverage plans are very limited and not recommended for young age people.
