I have been reading your posts on the website ( which have been very helpful) and would like to ask you a few questions about insurance policies that I am scouting for right now. My parents are planning to come to Colorado ( Age 63 and 59) mid May, so I wanted to find out what the best options would be. From my research, I see there are mainly three variables,
1. Plan type : limited /comprehensive
2. Max Coverage: 50 k / 100 k
3. Deductibles: 100, 200, 350
If you could suggest what a deep enough policy would be, from whom and which would be valid in Colorado, that would be great. Both my parents do not have any pre-existing conditions and the plan I am looking for is for six months.
My doubts are,
1. Is a comprehensive plan for 50k with deductibles at 100 a good enough policy or is a standard policy at 100k?
2. Do you think Indian policies work well here in the US? Because some provide max coverage upto 1 million, which somehow doesnt convince me.
3. Which providers do you think are trustworthy and is there a human contact that could bridge this gap?
Please let me know.
Thanks!
