Visitors medical insurance for parents visiting USA

Hi, My parents are coming here in USA in the June,07. I saw various insurance options on your website, and thinking about going for Visitor Care from IMG (Fixed Coverage Plan). I checked its brochure and I have few question as below... 1. For Visitors Care from IMG, in the brouchur , In medical benefits section for Intensive Care its written a Additional $850 per day,.. I am wondering whats this additional word means. 2. In medical benefits section, I didn't see anything mentioned about accident. So if my father got in some accident and need to go to doctor/hospital because of that, Is it covered? 3. Some plans mentions that pre-existing conditions are considered( I mean paid)in case life threatening emergency. I didn't see any wording like that here in the brouchur. For ex. if my mother is having high blood pressure, and lets say she got heart attack and needs to get medical care, is this covered by this plan. Waiting for your reply

1. I assume you are looking at $100,000 coverage.
That plan has $1,950/day for hospital room and board. And $850/day for ICU. That means $1950 + $850/day = $2800/day for ICU.

2. Yes, accidents are generally covered same as any sickness.

3. There is no product available from any company anywhere that truly covers pre-existing conditions for visitors to US, even though some plans claim it with many if and buts, and in limited amount.

I have one more question -

For Hospital Emergency room its written as 75% of URC to US$550.
Can you please explain this a bit in detail to me?

That means, if you go to an emergency room, insurance company will pay maximum $550.

e.g., if ER visit costs, $2000, they will pay $550. If it costs, $1,000, they will pay $550. But if costs, $400, they will pay $300 (75%).
