I am interested in purchasing Patriot America insurance for my visiting father. I was interested in knowing how the claims are processed. Is it going to be that either we pay the copay to the doctor at the time of service or we pay the coinsurance later once the insurance company determines the charges? Also, the brochure says that the reimbursement will be sent to the insured person in check. To which address will this check be sent? Is it going to be the home country address or local address? I am concerned becuase local address may not make sense as he does not have a bank account here to encash the check. Can the checks be sent in my name as I will be bearing the expenses during his stay here?
