Visitor Insurance with ICICI LOMABARD - Urgent

Does any one have experience with buying and using insurance from ICICI Lombard. They have tie up with United Health which is best in league compared to other insurances policies around here like inbound USA and others.

Pls. share yr opinion.

It is always better to buy insurance from US based companies.

Additionally, I received a phone call from a lady just yesterday morning who had recently purchased ICICI Lombard and her mother got sick. And she was not able to find any provider that would accept that insurance. And therefore she called me to see whether she could buy the insurance from the US based companies that we sell. I told her that it was too late to buy any new insurance now as it would be considered as pre-existing condition. If you have to search for new insurance when you fall sick, what is the use of such insurance?
