Needs help in choosing Visitors Insurance

Hi Mr. Khatri,

I had taken an IMG insurance in past through you and here I am again in need of your opinion on the following -

This time I am looking for a medical insurance for my parents who will be visiting US for 6 months starting from 05/10/2008.

Their medical condition

My dad who will be 70 in this April had angina trouble in past i.e., 4 Years back and my Mom is a diabetic who has well controlled diabetes and does not require any pills or insulin to control it. So overall they are in very good health condition

Choice of Insurance

I need a insurance only incase if god forbidden they need to be taken to hospital as otherwise my wife who is a doctor (not practicing in US) can take care of smaller issues.

Now can you suggest me some cost effective insurance. I think Fixed coverage insurance should be good enough (unless it is a strict NO NO) as otherwise comprehensive would be too costly and my parents are generally in good health condition. So please suggest me some insurance

Fixed coverage plan is never enough. Otherwise, there would be no reason for anyone to pay 2-3 times more money and such comprehensive insurance products wouldn't even exist. After all, it is your choice as long as you understand what you are purchasing.
