While waiting for your response, I visited your website. The website insubuy.com suggested three plans – Liaison international, Liaison majestic and liaison continent. You recommend Liaison international plan. Can you tell me your reasons for recommending Liaison International plan? May be the website doesn’t display all information or suggested plans that are not available for my situation.

All 3 of them are very similar plans from the same company.

Major difference:
Liaison International: After deductible, 80/20 to $5,000 then 100% to policy max.
Liaison Majestic: After deductible, 90/10 to $5,000 then 100% to policy max.
Liaison Continent Plan A: After deductible, 80/20 to $2,500, then 90/10 to next $5,000 then 100% to policy max.
Liaison Continent Plan B: After deductible, 75/25 to policy max.

You can buy any of them.

Hello Narendra,

One more question: Does the insurance plan cover unexpected medical emergencies in transit (to and fro) or does the plan coverage starts after landing in US and ends after take off? Depending on the answer I can include days of travel.

In order to cover during the travel time as well, you need to make the insurance effective date one day in advance of the travel date. In that case, it will cover anywhere outside India.
