am considering insurance for my 75 yr old father and 70 yr old mother traveling to the US for a month to visit on vacation. I notice under the exclusions for Vistors Care the first item is “Pre-existing Conditions. Any Injury, Illness, sickness, disease, or other physical or medical disorder, condition or ailment that, with reasonable medical certainty, existed at the time of Application or at any time during the three years prior to the Effective Date of the Initial Period of Coverage, whether or not previously manifested or symptomatic, diagnosed, treated, or disclosed, including any subsequent, chronic or recurring complications”
Given their age, does this mean that almost any serious illness would be considered a pre-existing condition as old age obviously brings more illness and can be construed to be causal.
Appreciate your response on guidance on this.
