Dear Sir or Madam,
I am a client and have a travel insurance policy with your group. I recently had to visit a doctor as I had symptoms of infection while travelling in London. I tried to call your office for assistance in identifying a doctor in London but your office was closed. I also called the emergency number you listed on the policy but the agent could not help me as she said she did not have enough information. As my symptoms felt serious, I left a message with your office and located a doctor in London on my own. At the Princess Grace Hospital, I was diagnosed with an urinary tract infection and was prescribed a course of anti-biotic. Further urine samples were also ordered. The cost for the doctor fee was 100 british pound.
Can you advise on how and when I should file for reimbursement of the medical fee? Should I wait until the end of the trip or file for the claim right now during my trip? Thank you for your assistance.
My policy number is **** . The group number is **** *. The policy is effective from May 21st to June 26th, 2008.
