Visitor medical insurance-Need suggestion

My parents are visiting US on May 23rd and they will be here for 6 months provided they get I94 for 6 months. My mom has diabetes and father has BP. Did some study about
visitor medical insurance and I feel patriot america and protection america are pretty good.
Can I buy initially for 3 months and later renew for another 3 months ? Do you think policy max of 50K will be good enough ?
Please let me know your suggestion and help me through the purchase process. They are leaving India on May 23rd..
