Visitor insurance for parents

My parents (Father : 76 & Mother : 67) are planning to visit me in USA (State: Virginia) from October'09 thry Feb'10.

I am looking for a suitable Comprehensive insurance policy with an insurance company that would be easy to deal with, should I have a need to file claim...(We all know that everyone likes to take premium money, but they find all kinds of excuses to not pay the claim when it comes to that).

I have reviewed the infomation shown on your website and tried to compare the plans.


I have just one question to start with:

In all the plans I noticed that there is a limit of about $800-$1600 per day for hospitalization+miscellaneous.
Is there a plan available where this limit is substantially higher?

As you know, if it comes to hospitalization, especially after emergency, the hospital bill can range anywhere from $8K-$10K per day for first couple of days as a whole lot of tests are carried out during first two days. Having a limit of $1000 does not cover these expenses adequeately.


I would apprepciate your help in this matter and if you could direct me to a suitable plan on your website.

There are two types of plans:
Fixed: Cheaper, limited
Comprehenive: More expensive, better plans

You should look at comprehensive plans at https://www.insubuy.com/ They don't have schedule of benefits (x amount for hospitzation, y amount for surgery etc.). Please choose either $50,000 or $100,000 policy maximum and enter the data for one person at a time for larger selection of products.
