Which Comprehensive Insurance to Buy

I want to buy comprehensive insurance for 5 fixed months(50k Coverage) for M-in-law. I compared both Patriot America, Liaison. Both are same except Dental - Accident related emergency which is covered to max by Patriot. Can any one suggest which is better. Also Some one in this forum was suggesting about TravelGuard Insurance. Can any one give me link for that Insurance also.

Please suggest which is better ??

TravelGuard is NOT available for person visiting USA. It is available only to the residents of US, Canada and Guam. It was available earlier on our website itself(https://www.insubuy.com), but since they changed the plan eligibility in September 2004, we have removed it from our website.

Regarding Patriot vs. Liaison, if you are not sure how long your mother-in-law is going to stay, you may buy Liaison as it is renewable. If you are sure about 5 months, you may buy Patriot America, as it has coverage up to policy max for Accident related dental injury(Liaison $500) and also up to policy max for ambulance(Liaison $2500).

Thanks for your reply. I have below questions.

1) How about If I go for Patriot for first 5 months, And cancel it any time If the person needs to leave before planned date, Meaning If I Buy for 5 months, But if Visitor leaves by 3 months, Will I get refund for 2 months back either with Patriot or with Liason ??.

2) If I buy Patriot for 5 months, Can I buy additional month from them for the same price again ??. Or can I buy additional month from Liason.

1. After effective date, cancellation is as follows:
Patriot: If there is no claim, insurance company would consider doing the refund for fully unused months minus $25 cancellation fee.
Liaison: If there is no claim, insurance company would consider doing the refund for unused no. of days minus $50 cancellation fee.
No refund if there is any claim in any plan.

2. Yes, you can repurchase Patriot America for 1 additional month. You can purchase Liaison as well.
Price is not going to change just because you are renew. Usually, these plans have prices subject to change towards beginning of new year. But in either of these plans, prices have not changed for last 3 years. But if it changes, it will change for everyone in the world.
