Coverage for ongoing pre-existing conditions in visitors insurance

I have a question before I chose which insurance to buy for my parents visiting from india. If my parent has a preexisting illness, and i take atlas america insurance, which covers acute exacerbation of preexisting illness, if i have to take them to a doctors office for their ongoing preexisting illness, and get a prescription, will the script pay for this office visit and cover the prescription; though their preexisting illness does not cause them to be admitted to a hospital.
