Can you explain this from exclusions? I'm confuse as to what is covered and not covered.

"Pre-existing Conditions – Charges resulting directly or indirectly from any Pre-existing Condition are excluded from this insurance. If you are under age 70, you are covered for Medical and Emergency Evacuation charges resulting from an Acute Onset of a Pre-existing Condition, up to the limit set forth in the Schedule of Benefits and Limits.

A Pre-existing Condition is any Illness, Injury or medical condition or chronic or recurring Illness or Injury or medical condition, including any associated complications or consequences, which existed at or during the 2 years immediately preceding your Effective Date.

An Acute Onset is a sudden and unexpected outbreak or recurrence of a Pre-existing Condition, that occurs spontaneously and without advance warning either in the form of Physician recommendations or symptoms. Treatment must be obtained within 24 hours of the sudden and unexpected outbreak or recurrence"

          Atlas/Liaison

Seems like both Atlas America, and Liaison cover pre-existing conditions (the way they are defined by the companies). Both are underwritten by LLoyds, then what is the difference between the two, both general coverage and specifically as it relates to pre-existing conditions?

          Thanks

Acute onset of pre-existing conditions coverage is the same in both the plans.

The difference is in the administator (which both are excellent), the coinsurance amount, eligiblity requirements in terms of how long you can purchase, within how much time you have to purchase the insurance, maximum duration and some other minor differences. You can compare the plans side by side at https://www.insubuy.com to find out all the differences accurately, all listed side by side.

Is there somewhere I can see what the network looks like for Atlas America? I wanted to see what Physicians/Hospitals are covered within my local area. Thanks

                  Thanks

How would the coverage work, i.e. what/who would be in a network provider, if there was a problem at the tranisit airport (which is not in the US). Is there an FAQ which specifically addresses the coverage while traveling?

There is no concept of PPO network outside the U.S.

Therefore, out of network claims FAQ at https://www.insubuy.com/international-travel-insurance/ would be the closest to what you are looking for.

I insured my Parents using Atlas. They need Tet**** shots, what is the best way to handle this. It likely won't be covered because of the deductible but I want to make sure that it counts towards it. Is there a way to contact the company to ask them directly?

                          Thanks

It will not be covered. Deductible applies only to the eligible expense. So that expense will not count towards the dedutible.
