Eligibility
The Missionaries Visa is issued to those going to India for a religious purpose. It may take up to 3 months to process a Missionary Visa.
Duration and Validity
US citizens can get a Missionary visa for up to 5 years. However, non-US citizens will be issued up to 1 year Missionary visa and they must provide their permanent address in their home country with the application.
The Missionary Visa is a single entry visa valid for the duration approved by the Government of India.
Please apply for Missionary Visa at least 3 months in advance of your intended date of travel.
The visa duration starts on the day of issuance, and not on the day of entry into India.
