Reference: USA Visitor Visa for Dong Yang and Fang Wu
Dear Consular Officer,
I’m a permanent resident alien, living in the USA for the past 10 years. I am writing this on behalf of my father and mother Dong Yang and Fang Wu.
They live at 123 Pingan Street, Beijing, China. I am employed at the International Monetary Fund (IMF) located in Washington D.C. and work as a Software Engineer and earn $86,000 per year.
I would like to invite my parents, Mr. Dong Yang and Mrs. Fang Wu to visit the USA for tourism purposes and to meet my family and their granddaughter, who is now 4 years old. They will be staying with me at my home at the above-mentioned address for 3 months. During their stay in the United States, I will bear all their responsibilities including, but not limited to, financial responsibilities, round trip airfare from China, travel expense within the USA, medical insurance, housing, and food. I will personally guarantee that they will leave the United States after their short visit and will not become a public charge on the part of the United States government.
[Scenario 1]
My aunt (father’s sister) had applied for their immigration in 1988 (almost 20 years ago), but my parents had not accepted that immigration, as they did not have any intention to come and immigrate to the United States. Even today they don’t have any intention to stay in the United States as my mother works as a registered nurse back in China, and she only has a 3-month vacation time for this trip. Also, my parents have real estate, investments, and most of our family, including my elder sister, her husband, and their 5-year-old grandson back in China.
[Alternate Scenario 2]
Both of my parents are retired. As an ex-government employee, he receives a monthly pension and has received a substantial amount from the provident fund. My father owns the house worth RMB XXXX and has commercial properties worth RMB XXXX. My parents stay with my younger brother, and my elder sister also stays nearby. My parents enjoy the company of their 3 grandchildren very much. My parents also need to take care of my elderly grandmother and cannot leave her alone for a long time.
[Alternate Scenario 3]
My mother is a widow. However, she has no intentions to immigrate to the United States. My mother receives the interest income from the deposits in the bank and rent income from the rental properties. Additionally, my mother has been staying in the same house ever since she got married to my father. She has many memories attached to her house that she has no intentions of abandoning it.
Your favorable decision on their visitor visa will be appreciated.
Sincerely,
Li Yang
