Support personnel of P visa holders can get a P visa if they are highly skilled essential support personnel and are an integral part of the successful performance of a P1, P2 or P3 visa worker. Support personnel must perform support services that can’t be readily performed by a U.S. worker. Essential support personnel may be coaches, scouts, trainers, and other team officials.
Support personnel must have appropriate qualifications and critical knowledge to perform their services. They must also have experience in providing support to the P1, P2, or P3 visa worker.
The petition is valid for the duration needed to complete the P-1, P-2 or P-3 Visa holder’s event, activity, or performance, but may not exceed 1 year.
