Reference: USA Visitor Visa for Ram and Sita Agarwal
Dear Consular Officer,
I’m a permanent resident alien, living in the USA for the past 10 years. I am writing this on behalf of my father and mother Ram and Sita Agarwal.
They live at D/34 Lokhandwala Complex, Andheri, Mumbai, INDIA. I am employed at the International Monetary Fund (IMF) located in Washington D.C. and work as a Software Engineer with a salary of $96,000 per year.
I would like to invite my parents, Mr. Ram Agarwal and Mrs. Sita Agarwal to visit the USA for tourism purposes and to meet my family and their granddaughter, who is now 4 years old. They will be staying with me at my home at the abovementioned address for 3 months. During their stay in the United States, I will bear all their responsibilities including, but not limited to, financial responsibilities, round trip airfare from INDIA, travel expense within the USA, medical insurance, housing, and food. I will personally guarantee that they will leave the United States after their short visit and will not become a public charge on the part of the United States government.
[Scenario 1]
My aunt (father’s sister) had applied for their immigration in 1988 (almost 20 years ago), but my parents had not accepted that immigration, as they did not have any intention to come and immigrate to the United States. Even today they don’t have any intention to stay in the United States as my mother works as a registered nurse back in India, and she only has a 3-month vacation time for this trip. Also, my parents have real estate, investments, and most of our family, including my elder sister, husband, and their 5-year-old grandson back in India.
[Alternate Scenario 2]
Both of my parents are retired. As an ex-government employee, my father receives a monthly pension and has received a substantial amount from the provident fund. My father owns a house worth Rs. 3 Crores and has commercial properties worth Rs. 7 Crores. My parents stay with my younger brother, and my elder sister also stays nearby. My parents enjoy the company of their 3 grandchildren very much. My parents also need to take care of my elderly grandmother and cannot leave her alone for a long time.
[Alternate Scenario 3]
My mother is a widow. However, she has no intention to immigrate to the United States. My mother receives interest income from the deposits in the bank and rent income from rental properties. Additionally, my mother has been staying in the same house ever since she got married to my father. She has many memories attached to her house that she has no intentions of abandoning it.
Your favorable decision on their visitor visa will be appreciated.
Sincerely,
Manisha Gupta
