My journey from I589 to I 485
Hi family, it's with tears in my eyes that I decided to write my experience. It can help somebody too. To be honest, I'm very thankful for all of you in these crews (I589 and I485). I have learned a lot from you. My story will be long but it'll worth it. Let's go...
I came ✈in the USA🗽 on B1 in 2015. Filed for I589 eleven months later through a lawyer. Got my first EAD 7 months later. In 2017, filled for the renewal of my EAD. Met my then USC girlfriend💑 the same year. We moved together In 2018. We got married in 2019💍, got our first son🤱 the same year👪. I applied for my EAD renewal. She filed for me in July 2019 without attorney. Got 1st RFE in November 2019, got RFE for medical in January 2020. Got interview for I130 and I485 in February 2020 just before the CORONA VIRUS😷 broke down in the US. Since then, I got a first NOID in APRIL we reply whitout attorney. Then got another NOID referring me to do an I 601. Since we did not wanna make a mistake, We hired an attorney to reply. From my attorney reply, they approved I 130👍 but NOID for I485, the attorney filed I 601 in August 2020. I Just applied for my 3rd EAD renewal based on I589 last month. I have never got an interview based on my I589 for the last 5 years since Trump administration changed the rule from FIFO to LIFO. From Yesterday, my status changed several times bouncing back and forth from case reopened for reconsideration of our decision we mailed you the decision, to card was produced. Today, it changed to I 601 APPROVED👍, I 485 APPROVED👍. Oufff! What a journey!. Never give up. I went through sleepless nights😥😥 to stress🤔🤔. Immigration cost a lot of money IMO. You need to be financially prepared. Don't be scared if you can't handle it, hired a lawyer. For those who already have their EAD, please, start using it ASAP and hustle to save🤑🤑🤑. Because you will need that money trust me and it will count towards your income when it comes to justify that you can financially support yourself. Believe me I'm not rich but I made good money from my EAD🤑🤑🤑😎. Since my wife gave birth, she stopped working to attend to the kids. So I'm the only provider right now. Holy mokas, this ain't a jokass. My tips to stop stressing yourself about your pending case is to keep yourself busy and make some good money🤑🤑🤑. There are ton of job out there💆‍♀️💇‍♂️👨‍💻👨‍🍳👨‍🌾 that pays good money🤑🤑🤑. No need to work to hard just for change. My fellow immigrants, Please use your EAD to look for a CERTIFICATION👨‍🔧👨‍🎤👨‍💻👩‍🌾👨‍🍳👨‍🎨👷‍♂️💇‍♂️, it brings you a plus in a job that not anybody can do it. You are authorized to work in any fields in the US, with just some few exceptions.

Please, while your case is pending, do your best to stay out of trouble. Just a small mistake can bring you down.
Avoid: DUI, DWI, BURGLARY, SHOPLIFTING, DRIVING WITHOUT LICENSE/INSURANCE, ASSAULT, COURT RESTRAINT, UNPAID CHILD SUPPORT, NOISE ORDINANCE VIOLATION (for those that like parties at home), disrespect to a police, etc... FYI, Because in case of any involvement in trouble and you get arrested, you will have to show that you are a person of a good caracter to the immigration and it take long. It could jeopardize your case.

For those that can't make it to the ZOOM party on weekend, Please let's gather and take a selfie 🤳 to celebrate my new freedom🥳🥳🥳.
See you in 3 years for my Citizenship.
I hope my experience will bring some hope to some of you.

STAY BLESSED GOOD PEOPLE, PEACE. LIVE, LOVE, LAUGH.

Cheers,
