Need of original I129S for entry into US

When I entered US for the first time on L1 visa, I had only one copy of signed I129S as I was given only one copy by the US consulate Chennai. This copy was retained at the port of entry so I just scanned that before handing it over. For my future travels and re-entry, a print of the scanned I129S is good enough? This scanned copy has both consulate's visa approval and stamp of entry seal. Please advise.
