After Greencard

I MARRIED IN 2006 OF JULY BY AUGUST MY HUSBAND WAS DEPORTED. I BECAME PREGNANT AND HE WAS ANGRY HE SAID I RUINED HIS LIFE BUT NOW I KNOW WHY HE SAID THAT. HE RETURNED HOME 2 YEARS LATER NOT EVEN HOME A MONTH AND HE IS GONE. HE USED ME HE TOOK MY HEART AND MY CHOICE OF WHAT I BELEIVED A MARRIAGE WAS AND USED IT FOR HIS GAIN TO RESIDE PERMANANTLY IN THE US. WHAT DO I DO NOW KNOWING WHAT HE DID TO ME WAS ALL FAKE? WILL I GET IN TROUBLE IF I TELL? WILL I GET IN TROUBLE IF I DON'T SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!

I am a us citizen living in ny. I was married in Bangladesh in 2005 in an arranged marriage. My wife migrated in march of 2008 with a permanent greencard status.

Once she came here after 3 months Ifound out that she was already involved in a relationship with her cousin before the marriage and this marriage was only a scheme to migrate here and to bring her lover/cousin who lives in kuwait but visited her while i was here and they were continuing to scheme..i felt neglected for three years not knowing why (my life was like a hell). I also found a love letters from her cousin-lover. i have reason to believe she was impregnated before coming here as well because back in bangladesh be4 u get ur visa u have to see a doctor and they give a injection of some sort which prevents u from being pregnant and she told me this but soon after she came shecame (2weeks) she took a pregnancy test and was pregnant i took her to doc some doc said she already was pregnant be4 she came but she swore to me its mine.. I asked her what she wanted. She told me she doesn't want to continue our marriage and left to Bangladesh. After 1 month she came back here to live with her uncle.Also her entire family was in on this scheme and all the love they showed me was a fake even more the love she showed me im a fool but it still hurts...

i am heart broken to be honest don't feel like doing anything at the same time do not know what to do with this situation.. if anyone out there knows or can help me through this, i will always pray for u and will appreciate greatly...

i have not divorced her yet, and i know this is a fraud but do not know what can be or what to do about it.....

any and all help will be greatly appreciated..i hope i made some sense as this is too much drama in my life enough to cause me to lose my job becuase just dont have the strength to do anything.......

I want somebody who has been in a situation like this to help me out. I filed for the removal of my conditional residence, and we were scheduled for an interview with my wife. The office turned in down for a mistake committed by our aprtment office. my application was cancelled. My lawyer advised us to refile all oevr again, we did and my stay was extended by a year. Ever since I did my finger print, i have not heard anything from the officve again, and it is over six months.
Please has anybody gone through this situation before.

entered today after 11 months out of US.I have greencard.
No question asked by immigration officer.Justs wipe my greencard and stamped on passport.Entered from JFK airport, Newyork.
Even not any problem with custom officer.

I agree with the member who said its better to stay with parents when they are getting older.As permanent residents we cannot sponsor for parents but only family (spouse andchild).
Parents have to stay alone in India. I feel bad.

I am one of the lucky ones as my market i got stuck in a company for 4 years and by chance they had a labour approved for my skill set and the person quit days before it cleared so i got into the process from step 2.

I got it in 31/2 yrs from filing not bad ,but my wife is citizen.

As far life being difference i see no change .

Whats the big deal whats great about green card. All desis think usa is the only land to be in. It sucks & stinks. We can have a better life in india . Its better we should stay here for couple of years may be < 5-8 . Go back to india live with ur parents who are getting old & enjoy family
Here no one says hello or cares for you.
I see people even at age 0f 60 they are scared of jobs. I have decided to go back next year. So
i say whats all this struggle " WHATS THE BIG DEAL ABOUT GREEN CARD"

I also had a similar experience. I felt special standing in the shorter line for US Citizens. It was quick any easy. It makes it all worthwhile.

It is just about a year since I have got my Green Card and its the first time that I took a trip outside the US on vacation.

When I got back to the US and re-entered via Chicago. After all the trouble I went thru it makes it worthwile:-

1. You don't have to carry a load of H1 related material on an foreign trip.
2. You don't have to drum you fingues and be worried about an immigration officers question.
3. Don't have to fill the I94
4. Much shorter line than Visitors

For once you seem to be relaxed and happy to get back home.
